Have you checked the heater core? Fan assembly?

Make sure the fans are coming on and make sure there is no air in the system. If both those things are good, im wondering if your water pump is good, if it wasnt pumping, you'd overheat for sure.

I forgot to add onto my earlier post... My bad. I had to replace everything as well...

When/how is it overheating? Give specifics if possible

What is normal operating temps for these cars? When do the fans come on?I changed the cooling system and the coolant temp sensor(not the sending unit for the gauge). The fans come on when a/c is turned on,but Ive seen 230 degrees and the fans still dont come on.

check the relay and voltage at the connection also voltage at temp switch with the key on.

Where does the fan get the "go"signal? This is my gf's car and best I can tell the gauge is dead(it twitches a bit when I ground the sending unit wire but that's it).Her father put in an aftermarket temp gauge and left that connector hanging.I cant find it in the wiring diagram.Seems to me the coolant temp sensor would tell the PCM,which would cycle the fan.
