Well I swapped to a v6 throttlebody on my i4 today and the car runs but I'm having problems.

Here's the whole story. Please help.

I have a remote starter and the car accidentally started with the throttlebody removed and the engine cut out. I don't know if this has something to do with the below problem.

The car runs but I have a very high idle rpm and slightly higher regular rpm while driving. idling in drive the rpm is about 950 and was about 750 before the the swap. Idle in park I'm at about 1200rpm. A cold start I was at about 2000rpm+ for a little while.

I changed all my hoses to silicone while I had the throttle body removed. I did each one at a time so I doubt I mixed something up. I also checked and everything is connected probably.

What could be causing my high idle?
