Question about lights on the 2000 and the 2002 Galants

I just wondering would i be able to replace my 2000 lights with 2002 lights..... not the bulbs but the acutally head light....?? :?:

They are the same size and all .. just smoked colored

Yes, a direct swap is possible..

The 2002s are not smoked, they have a black headlight housing..
I think someone has opened a 99-2001 Headlight and painted thiers black.. looks the same... do that, save money..

yea hsin,, i think,, yea but thats fucking pain,, u got put the headl light in Owner,, and remove and paint tooo much,, he can just sell him 01 for 02 or trade,,,,,

Yeah, I'm going to open my lights up and paint them. I don't like how the 2002's look with cleared corners, so while I have my lights open for painting, I am going to remove the amber reflectors and smoke them with Nite Shades, then put them back.

The only reason I want to replace mine with 2002 lights because im a novice and doing shit like this and I dont want to mess up my lights..... if i really knew what i was doing piece of cake :-) but sad to say it LOL I dont want to mess up the lights :-) so i rather just replace them with 2k2 lights well thanks for the info guys this really helped me out alot...
