This is probably a stupid question to most of you but alot of the time when I go to work on my car I find myself wondering where should I place my jack. I know where to put the jack in the rear of the car but not the front. I want to jack both front wheels off the ground at once and do it safely. Is there any where that I can put my jack to achieve this?
Also where can I get a good low price low profile jack?
Thanks.

generally when i'm jacking it up from the front I sit the jack under the crossmember and then put axle stands under the chassis

Yea the corssmember is a good place. make sure to use jackstands, never support a vehicle with a jack alone.
