I found these on CL, and I was wondering if they'd look decent on my G, as an extra set for autocrossing.

And he says they came of a G, OEM?

If they are OEM they didn't came on an 8g, I wouldn't buy them

Yeah, but if the tires are decent, i can at least swap them on to my steelies, or just keep an extra set to autocross with.

Those are the rims from a Lexus ES300, and I believe the concurrent Toyota Camry V6 from 1992-1996 (not sure if they were offered all years of that generation, though)

However, the OEM Galant rims that are pretty difficult to find are these (though I saw them on one at the yard yesterday):

Thanks guys... I'm nixing the idea. I guess I can run my steelies on the course and FINALLY have a "legit" excuse to get rims:rockon:

if you want budget performance wheels, save up for some OEM EVO wheels.

no not really because the OE 4G wheels are not quite performance wheels. the reason i said EVO wheels is they are going to be either ENKEI or BBS (MR), will be lighter, and will allow you to run EVO brembo for track/autocross.

if you like the 4g wheels, they also came on some 9G's.

The Eclipse 4G wheels are 18" and 28 lbs a piece. Hardly performance oriented. I would look for a set of Enkei rpf01s (17 lbs) or some 5zigen fn01r-c's (cheap wheels) that most autocrossers like to use.

Yeah, i forgot to think about that... Crap. I was just looking at wheels that'd look good.

I've also thought about getting slicks and putting those on my steelies and just swapping them at the track (which most of the guys do).
