Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I'm looking into colored lug nuts I was told that the acorn style lug nuts won't fit on my stock wheels cuz they require a shank or something. Sooooo I was wondering what type of lug nuts will fit my wheels any links or anything will be helpful. Thanks

If you are talking factory, it is a short shank lugnut.

They look like this:

Aftermarket wheels all utilize cone seat 'acorn' lugnuts.

They look like this:

Personally, I suggest McGard or Gorilla Lugnuts. Though, it is usually easier to walk into a wheel shop and buy the kit on the spot. If you really prefer buying online, here is a few links:

Whatever you end up buying needs to be 12x1.5mm thread. The kit part numbers you'd use would be: 21123HT (closed lug) or 20023SD (open lug). Have fun!

I'm thinking its the wrong pics. If you notice it says tapered v. oem fitment. I'm assuming they just used one pic for each color

I see two different lug nuts. I see a cone seat and a ball seat lug nut. I don't see a short shank anywhere.

just because Our OEM is a short shank, it doesn't mean all companies uses a short shank lug nut for their wheels

I don't think you can anodize steel. Only aluminum.

Should work provided the washer isn't to thick, or to thin.
