Ok when im idling at a light with my foot on the brake my oil light flashes in a real weird manner. When i got it into my garage tonight i pop the hood trough in some oil and started the car back up. With the hood open i started to hear a tick that sounds like its coming from the engine. I dont know what the hell is happening to my car can someone help.

Yep, sounds like you were low on oil. Shoulda checked before you added. The tick is usually one of two things...either the valves are tapping or it's the pump that pressurizes your fuel tank. Bioth will click and neither are anything big to worry about. You can toss in some CD2 to quiet them down again.

More than likely its your valves tapping thats known on Mitsubishis mine been oing it for years now no major prob. though
