specs question

curious, i was in talking with a guy at the store today, and he doesn't know too much about my 97 galant, but he was curious if for cam or an exhaust system the 95-99 eclipse would fit the 94-98 galant. I'm not sure and thought maybe someone here would have some insight? if not, what would be the closest specs to the 7th gen.? i'm just recently getting into the performance part of my car, spent most of my time on customizing. pardon the questions if you find them stupid...

Cams for Eclipse will not work (unless it's a GS Galant)

Exhaust systems can work but require modification.

The 7g is pretty much the only car that got the 4g64 engine. (The 2g Eclipse N/A Spyder, some wagons, and some Hyundais also got the engine, but mostly just the Galant)
