Anybody with suggestions on how to smoke or black out my tail lights? Pictures showing your finished product?

I thought I could get some tint film but, for some reason that sounds like a cheap and not very good way to do it.

Suggestions please.

Something to keep in mind, mine is a 9g. Therefore (to my knowledge) there are only 2 types of headlights available, projector, and non projector... both are OEM... so. The car is Silver. Whether or not onlookers thinks the tails will make or break the car isn't really my concern. I know I'll like it, and that's what counts. I'm just not sure what is going to be the best way to do it.

Sure, I can get smoked vinyl film, but I'm guessing by the shape of the tail lights, given that there are 3 seperate axis' that I would have to do a seam on at least one of them. I don't know much about the spray on stuff. So... yeah... just need ideas and suggestions. Preferably by people who have experience doing it on 9g tails since the shape is completely different and I would think much harder to do than 8g based on shape.

Heres a tutorial for an 8g using night shade, but it should be just the same with the 9g...

or you can do the oven-bake method, open them up, spray the inside, then assemble back together.

comes out where you won't need clearcoat to look all shiny. i did this on a test tail light and came out great. too bad i didn't take pics.
