moving to cali.....

I got a job offer and I feel like I could excel a lot further but on the other hand I feel horrible moving away from my family since I don’t really know anyone beside few friends here and there in the bay area. Anyway TGC is like a family so hopefully I will meet you all……

Probably not anytime soon, eventually I will get married and settle down in the bay area. As of now I am trying to find a cheap room so the last thing I want is park my car on the street so not until I have my own house…

Yeah, I understand that.... but getting away from the family is enjoyable and fun, I was gone for 9 months, not knowing where my orders where going to take me, and then I got them one day, Orders took me back home! lol... Not what I wanted, but I was happy because I new people, but I get back, and really don't hang out with those guys anymore, made to many new great friends... I say do it, its an experience, if it doesn't work out, go back home and do what you enjoy. You don't want to have this in the back of your head in 6 or 8 months, looking back and thinking to yourself saying, I should have went. Sometimes you gotta go out on a limb... but make sure its stong enough first lol

You are going to love to not to deal with the weather during winter and enjoy driving your car or working on it when others are scrubbing ice off of their windshield. lol, thanks....the painter tape did an amazing job btw, strongly recommended for long distance driving if you don't want your bumper chip down to hell. not a single road chip on the front end

that's a lot of tape.. and that stuff ain't cheap. The quality stuff at least.. but better than repainting a bumper I guess haha

Chicago has a higher sales tax rate, and super high property taxes too. Won't be much different for any Chicagoan that moves to Cali.
