does anyone know how to retard ignition timing? not cam timing. the reason i want to know is i'm running Nitrous and noticed some light yellow powder on my plugs. so i need to know how to retard ingition timing. i was told our cars have speciels sensors and normal ways would not work.

You can get an Ignition Timing Control to adjust it +/- 15 degrees across the RPM range. Apexi made one a few years back. It's currently out of Production but you can still find them on the used market. I'll have one for sale soon that I originally purchased for my car but changed my mind.

If you can find one, try to get ahold of a SuperChips ICON. Its a piggy-back, programmable ignition controller.

What plugs are you running? Cooler plugs will help your nitrous system.
