08 galant oil leak

I have a 08 galant that has a small oil leak coming from the plug on the pan. I have checked the plug and it is tight. The car is still under warranty so I am taking it in, but I was wondering what could cause this?

change the washer/plug. did u strip it by over tightening the plug?

I did not over tighten it just turned until it stopped.

It was the washer for the oil plug. They replaced it and the leak is gone.
