M3 trunk lip question (regarding heat issues)

Hey guys,

I was wondering if the M3 trunk lip would hold up in Arizona heat? I'm not sure if it's plastic, or more rubbery, I don't want it to crack from drying out.

I had one on my old car and I live in Las Vegas, NV. I never had any issues of drying or cracking. But I sold the car 18 months later.
