02-03 front end swap

I made a bad decision to go play in the snow and ended up in a 3ft trench. My roommate and I couldn't see the trench by the way the sun reflected off the snow and had no idea what we hit when we stopped. Now that I look back on it, its kind of amusing. Stupid? Yes, extremely. On the bright side, the only damage is the bumper, left headlight, and hood.

I prefer the 02-03 front end and it fits my planned paint job better anyway. So, the question is, what all is required to complete the swap? Obviously, I'll need the bumper cover, grilles and foglights, but are there any brackets or hiden parts I'll need to pick up? I tried searching it and didn't find anything useful.

I think the only hidden part you might need would be the upper bumper brace, but I'm not even positive about that... Did that with my subaru once.. wish I had pics of that one

Wow -__- you would need the support bracket off the 02-03 which is part of the radiator support I think...

WOW...glad we don't have snow here, I have the 02-03 front and honestly man, its a pain in the ass for a number of reasons. One, there are no parts or mods, such as grills for the 8gb front, except fog lights. Second, you'll be lucky if you find one without the nose cracked. I like the way it looks but, I like the VR-4 wayy better. You should use this as an excuse to go to a JDM front.

Bobmundo, I approve. I was wondering how long it would take someone to do that lol.

My plans for the front end are to get the 02-03 bumper, black healights, CF OEM hood and find a lip that I can make fit. After I get a lip kit for the sides and rear bumper, lower it and get it repainted it should all look good. I'm painting it sapphire blue pearl from the Hyundai Gensis and painting my rims black with a matching blue lip.

Honestly I hate the 02/03 front bumper but hey, do what u gotta do, I'd take this chance to just throw a whole kit on there, and a monster fiberglass hood. Yea less subtle but again just my taste..,rims are sweet though, jealous
