also, have a deal on some megan headers for a 3g eclipse..however they say it will not fit CA spec cars. is this true or is this just because of the strict emissions laws in CA?? but i know that 8g galants and 3g eclipse have the same engine, but other then the length of the full exhaust will these headers fit the 8g galant with a stock exhaust??

Yes it will. i know the OBX will fit nice to your down pipe. NO codes. Also i belive you will have problem in CA because they do visual inspecion. If they see aftermarket headers they could give you a hard time. Over here in NY as long you dont have any codes you all set. Some vendors wont ship aftermarket headers to CA.
