Best way to upgrade dome light any suggestions?

I bought these bulbs de3175 with a 1" x1" square I'n between the conical contacts and it has 12 smds on it and number one it doesn't fit the oem location and two there has to be an easier way, tried soldering it but man what a b!tch. Please any suggestions what have others out there done and who and where did u get it from.

Ordered led block on ebay. Soldering was a issue at first but uses a blade to scratch offthen soldered. And it cauggt. Make sure you let it cool because If noit it breaks off.

Warning LED are very Fragile to heat u must know what ur doing before attempting this

and no u dont clean up solder with a knife u may damage the leads there's a special tool to remove excessive solder

Honestly If I were you I would purchase an led board, I got mine off of ebay used some wire strippers to cut off the adapters and then soldered it. The boards fit perfectly snug inside the little compartment.

i used a butane solder gun, attached the wires that came with LED's. LED i got are 12 LED board from eBay

I second the last tutorial exactly what I did. I also Ran another led block to the back seats running of the front lights.

Why not go to www.autolumination.com and just order the bulbs from there. They have many different styles and colors. Save yourself the hassle of trying to soder when you dont need to. Dome light bulbs are a different style then the Map light bulbs. The dome light is the rear and the map are the front two. The map light bulbs use a rigid loop style bulb to make connection, where the dome light bulb uses a regular pointed full body metal connection end. Keep that in mind when ordering. Both styles are 31mm in length I believe.
