this is the cheapest your going to find and its oem. keep in mind that your an 03, you can only use a heater core for a 03 or 02, all the others are different. http://www.oemmitsubishiparts.com/partlocator/index.cfm?action=getJointLocator&siteid=214331&chapter=&sectionids=9,0&groupid=10027&subgroupid=60722&make=24&model=Galant&year=2003&catalogid=1&displayCatalogid=0

Forgot about that one... You can also bypass it for the time being if you don't need heat

keep searching eBay, a decently priced one WILL pop up.

Otherwise, as mentioned above, just bypass it until then

So how long will it take me? I think I can get the dash out in a hour, I figure it will be another hour to get the heater core out and a hour to put things back....you know me and my buddy think we can do anything when some beers get involved. As long as I get heat I guess.

/\ lol where do you see the use of a heat gun involved? He needs HEAT, he's from some far off arctic land. haha

But really, if it's your first time taking the dash off, I'd say a solid 5hr job is ahead of you.

Make sure you check the service manual, cause i think the a/c has to be discharged or something to get access to the HC. Correct me if i'm wrong guys
