I am feeling really stupid right now. I have an 03 Galant V6 and have to replace the starter. I got the bolts out and I'll be damned if I can't figure out how to twist or turn the starter to drop it out. I have read that the exhaust does not need to be dropped....so can someone give me a tip or trick to get it out? I'm tempted to mutilate it with a hammer.....but, then I won't know how to get the new one in....lol
