It all looks good to me except the spoiler? I picture it being better if they just use the base of it with the third brake light as kind of a flush mount spoiler. But I'm assuming the original design has more fucntion? It doesn't look bad on the red one imo from that presented angle. My question is are the headlights custom or color matched from factory?

Super Vr4 spoiler/wing. very very rare item. one member here has one that i know of. DeezNuts. he will tell you if it fits or not. It would need some modification. But it fits.

factory special edition: SUPER VR4. the bumper is NOT fiberglass. the front corners are add-ons. the side skirts are also special edition as are the rear lips and rear wing. the inside of the headlights are also special edition color matched. the SUPER VR4 only came in 2 colors, red or silver. the front "lip" is 2 corner pieces and the same for the rear; the side skirts are deeper than other vr4 sides as well.

VIS makes a replica of the SUPER VR4 front bumper w/ extentions in a one piece fiberglass bumper for cheap.

the SUPER VR4 extensions will not fit the INITIAL V (cyber 2) bumper.

the base of that 3000gt wing looks too narrow for the galant.

i actually have SUPER VR4 side skirts and SUPER VR4 rear lips on my car but they are molded in and modified so it's not really easy to distinguish the rears but here's a pic of them (i'm only showing it for this thread because they are a little easier to see their shape as they are not in black on my car):

almost every SUPER VR4 spoiler that can be bought now is a replica... the originals were a very rare limited edition to begin with and were never sold seperately from the car.

that's because the only USDM VR4 galant was for the 6G; the USDM 8G VR4 does not exist as the US never got the 7G VR4 or the 8G VR4. the only wing that was factory option for the USDM 8G is the same wing that is on the JDM 8G VR4.

not having a third brakelight is a sure sign that it is a replica, but having a third brakelight doesn't mean that it's not a replica... like i stated earlier almost every SUPER VR4 wing available is going to be a replica as the real deal original ones were only sold with the car and the car was a very limited edition deal.

looks like it is for an 8G... would look out of place without the rest of the SUPER VR4 parts or a body kit / lip kit; it's just too big for a stock bodied 8G.

Yeap Any Super Vr4 or Evo wing wont look right on a stock galant. You need to get some JDM vr4 parts to make the wing to work. Also droping the car and getting other mods will help. the only member that i know off that has the original super vr4 wing is deeznuts becuase he took it apart to paint it and it has all the Mitsubishi part numbers.

we have a supplier of used OE PFL VR4 bumpers straight from japan (he can also get FL version as well as both VRG versions); over the years he has supplied almost all the members that have done OE JDM conversions over here w/ their bumpers, lights, etc. he may be able to get you used bumpers from japan. look up a member here named TRIGGERMAUVE.

Advertised as an OEM SVR4 wing...but I think it's an EVO III because it lacks some angles that should be there on the vertical wings coming from the base.

Got sold within 30 mins of posting. The guys that bought it though was driving an EVO III (wingless), fitted the wings on his car, bought it and drove home with it.

The buyer was happy with it and that's all that it matters...but I can't help thinking if he knew what the wing was actually.

- So...EVO III or SVR4?

- Secondly...why is the color like that? Looks like resin casted or a copy rather than OEM. Old age?

I have 2 more pictures but I'll post it later. Just curious if any guys here can help in spotting an EVO III or SVR4 wing thru these angle.
