paint color?

Hey guys so I'm painting my car soon and I want to spray it black or blue....but my dad might make me spray it green -___-

What are some nice shades of green that will look good? Pictures as examples too please.

I don't think it's that difficult to change the color on the registration lol.

Anyway, green is my favorite color. That said, I absolutely hate green cars. Most of the time they look outdated. And in my opinion, the current greens that are out there (on 2010+ cars) may look okay right now, but I think in a few years they too will look outdated.

Colors is all personal preference, but if I had to choose one. it would be the BMW M6 Bronze

Well, for ideas, you could visit The Tire Rack (http://www.thetirerack.com) and plug in the values for the Galant and see what different colors look like, or you could go here (http://www.evolution-f.com/car-color/) and play with a color app that has three infinitely variable RGB sliders and experiment with some colors. Just to give you ideas and pass time.

You can always do green with different color flakes. It would change the color where the sun hits metallic.

I really like your car but see with mine I changed like all of the panels on the right side and the colors are different so combining colors doesn't work....

Generally my favorites:
Pure white (think BMW solid white, EVO X Wicked White, etc.)
lighter shades of Orange (look up Gold Galant [Reborn])
only certain blues
Dark Grey pearl (think Lexus)
Lexus Pearl White

go to your local upholstery supply store, they have an exclusive line of spray paint made for vinyl and plastics, with a good array of tones. in my G's dash, the black lower part is not paint, its actualy leather, glued to the plastics, the trims are a painted with regular car paint, custom color; the top part of the dash, remains the factory brown/cream, I just painted the tweeters the same color. the door panels (lower part re-design to acomodate an 8" speaker driver) are upholstered in a leather/vinyl combination, with the trim also custom color painted. Next step will we the seats, coming soon.

my opinion about the color: if you dont have a strong favorite, go with something really different, so for all the work changing a car's color you will have to do, in the end you end up with an unique G. (that's what Ill do).

I don't know if anyone gets the S3 mag on here but in their last issue they had a baddass golf and it had a lambo grey. I'll look for a picture of it. I think it would really look good on the 8g
