This light grey color linear vinyl makes the car look cool. My Galant doesn't have it. Probably only the 6G72 Galants have it? Without this vinyl, I think, the car's body looks a little bit "empty" on the side.

That first car is not a GTZ. You can see the ES badge on the trunk.

And correct, those are called pin stripes. Most people here try to remove them if the car came with them. I think they don't flow very well.

I think the pin striping is a dealer option, after it is shipped from the factory. Its an excuse to charge you more.

If you want to remove the pinstripe you should use a hair dryer or heat gun. The paint itself can take a little heat, the heat is meant to release the glue of the pinstripe, then just like removing a emblem, you can use fishing line the length of the pinstripe.

I removed my pinstripe while it rained once they're wet it comes off so easily

I really have a terrible taste of cars http://img2.zol.com.cn/product/12/107/cea5JNsExnqk.gif

Any examples of tasteful pinstripe vinyls on cars?

For example, does this:

make the car tasteful or riced out?

In my opinion, depends on the car. On a G? No. But maybe a box Monte Carlo, if you're into that kinda thing. Even then, that depends on what else you got going on with the car. On semi-sporty cars, less paint deco is more, IMO again.

if you get that, you should get a matching tattoo of that in your lower back area.

hahahahahaha

Lol I thought the exact same thing. And it's easy if you just use a paint scraper when it rains comes off real fast I'm sure you could just wet down behind it too.

My 8g had a painted two tone pinstripe on it when I got it, I made the dealer take it off or I wasnt buying the car. They had to have the car sent to a body shop and have it wet sanded off.

sometimes they are pretty easy to take off. i just peeled mine with my fingernails like someone else said before. although i did do it on a 100+ degree day so maybe the heat helped?

anyways, its like a stock feature on any trim i believe, my ES had it and it was the first "mod" i did followed by shaving all the emblems. i really don't like embellishment. although i have a band-aid sticker on a dent right above my driver tail light because im hopping it'll heal itself lol =P

stickers usually makes you look cheap. Trying to make the car more beautyfull by putting stickers on it.
