TGCIL/WI meet soon?

I've texted a few of you guys over the weekend, and got some feedback.

It looks like it would have to be on a Saturday. Either late April- Early to mid May.

What dates would anyone be down? I can't do the 7th, Pacquiao vs. Mosley that night.

When would everyone be free? Let's get a decent group going, it's always just me and Dave meeting up. lol

I will be home in mid to late May but I will be juggling work and school probably but I will try to make it to whatever you plan. My car is just bone stock and has a bad paint job right now but it would be cool to meet up anyway

Not for nothing, but the thing about meeting up at a already ongoing/bigger meet IMO for me is a little less fun than just the TGC peeps hanging out.

Agreed :) Which is why I said I'd be down for another trip to IL. I just figured I'd throw out the Automotion idea while we were on the subject.

I have no doubt it is. I've just been to enough HUGE meets and it's so easy to get out of hand and getting the cops involved that I try to stay away from them.

Its not like that at all, there is a classic car show, then we can cruise for a bit, that saturday 3si puts on a big cruise for the 3000gt members which is a blast. The cops dont bother you unless you are being reckless. We should plan this meet for automotion, seriously its probably the coolest thing you guys will ever see. Widsm members will caravan up, 3si will be there and a SHIT ton of more cars, we stick with 3si and widsm all weekend. The national corvettes association will be there with every model vett you can think of, a bunch of import guys, muscle guys, audi/vdub everything you can imagine even to exotics.

yep, they use their parking lot there for it. Its the coolest car event i have ever been too and plus the galant is going to be there

Haha it's because it takes a few states around here to get a meet the size of a Cali or TX meet.

Well, I dont know if I can make a weekend out of a meet so I wont be able to go, but if everyone wants to go to automotion instead of something else then thats cool too. Just take lots of pics.

I understand that the WI guys would have more costs than the IL guys by coming down here, but I cant do a weekend meet so unless anyone wants to meet up in IL I'm out.

Let's see if we can get an IL meet going seperate from automotion if not, then I guess thats just too bad for me.
