so a family members 2001 Galant ES(2.0L 4cyl) cylinder #2 is misfiring pretty bad. i've replaced the spark plugs and both coils, i'm beginning to suspect it may be the fuel injector. so, with my head under the hood facing the car, which one is cylinder #2? what about cylinder 1 & 4?

and when replacing the belts, what pulleys\tensioners should i also replace? the car has 130,000 miles. thanks

On most 4cyls, and I'm assuming the world spec 8G's were oriented the same as the USDM 8G, #1 is at the front of the engine, meaning it's the first cylinder next to the timing belt/pulleys, and the cylinders are sequential, so 1, 2, 3, 4, with #4 being next to the flywheel/transmission. I haven't replaced any pulleys, I have replaced the timing belt tensioner but that's under the timing belt cover.

Hope this helps!
