Well, they won't be made in a .75 anything. So, they would be 17x8.5" or 18x9.5"

Check my wheel fitment thread for more information.

XXR is cast product, I'd be extremely surprised that their wheels are actually made in a .25" size.

Yes they are I'm a member on wrong fitment crew and these xxrs are popular because of the odd sizing gives you that extra bit of tire stretch

Neat. Looks like it is just the XXR 527.

Too bad they don't make a 19x9.75 +25mm, that would quite literally be perfect for our cars.

I would recommend either 215/45R17 or 205/50R17. The will not be too expensive, and should both produce nice stretch. Tire wise, I'd recommend the General Exclaim UHPs, they *just* were discontinued, so you get them at a decent price, and they are rather popular with the VIP crews (they have good stretch).

Well are you going for the stretch look? If you are going hella flush i'd rock a wider tire...like 225/40's...although 235/35 17.5 is the best size. That size wouldn't throw off the speedo...actually you would gain .5 mph.

If you want the tire to stretch nicely, then in my opinion and experience a 225 will be too wide. I'd suggest again a 215/45R17. Remember, you have a wheel that will have a fairly low offset that WILL require minor to moderate fender rolling to fit. A 225 is 8.85" wide, a 215 is 8.46" wide. The wheel actual width is going to be 9.25", so again, the 215 should give you some nice stretch without to much fender work. If you want a tire that is slightly oversized, then Nexen makes some nice choices, and General Exclaim UHPs are also nice to stretch.
