Wanna give me pointers or tips on replacing an intake manifold? is it hard easy, gtfo your crazy for doing this shit on your own... For tools I have a full strong ratchet set with all extensions, WD-40, two regular car jacks, and elbow grease. As for parts, I have another intake manifold and intake manifold gasket.

Anyone wanna help me out and post a pic of the Wiring Harness Bracket at the Radiator. Also, I was told that I need to drain the coolant when I remove my intake manifold, thats right? Just wanna make sure.

Yes, need to drain coolant since you have to remove the thermostat housing "You need a O ring for it too when putting it back" also IAC lines contains coolant.

Are you going with a outlander or a oem mani?

by AIC you mean IAC? also. OEM one I found is for 50$ + $10 core deposit... hows the outlander compatibiltiy.

The IAC is on the throttle body, so you shouldn't have to replace that unless it's malfunctioning.

Aside from the things I've listed above, so now I can add coolant and a drain pan. anything else I need?

So I was told that 99-01 intake manifold are minorly different from 02-03 intake manifold. But the difference us enough where I can't use the 99-01 to replace my cracked one. Can someone verify this for me. The dealership gave me the run around obviously they dont know.

When talking about the IAC lines, they dont actually go to the IAC, they go to the throttle body. In the winter its beneficial to circulate coolant in there so the IAC and throttle plate doesn't freeze up and get stuck.

youll only need 10 12 and 14 mm sockets. However you're gonna need the same sizes in wrenches. A universal joint. 2 6 and 10 extensions, if they're wobble extensions even better. Oh and a good digital camera to take pictures so you can get all the lines and wiring back in the right places. Having never done anything of that nature before it took me a little under 2 hours to completely remove the intake manifold.
