megan springs with gr-2

Just a heads up, KYB GR-2 struts are meant to be used with stock springs, the KYB AGX struts are designed for lowering springs. The GR-2's will more than likely wear out prematurely.

And of course, have the alignment fixed. Have some camber bolts ready. ;]

GR-2's work just fine with lowering springs, it's the OEM and replacement shocks from the auto-part stores that will wear prematurely on lowering springs.

No actually Skyforger is correct. GR-2's are meant as OEM replacement and AGX's are meant for lowering springs. Youre warranty is in fact VOID with GR-2's if you use lowering springs. GR-2's have had a history of blowing/ wearing prematurely with members on here who have lowering springs. Some others have not had issues as of yet, so its kind of a toss up. You have less chance of blowing with springs such as Teins & Eibachs sice the drop isnt super low. But Megan's are a 2" drop, so you're more likely to have issues...

I see.... Well they dont know im lowered, so soon as they blow im claiming them. LOL. I wouldn't go megan though, I would want an even look, since the car is lower out back my Tein's 1.3-1.7 is perfect.

They come as a black semi transparent plastic. If you want it black you can just leave it as is instead of spending money to paint it and only just eleminating the slight transparency. Nice drop by the way, good luck with it.
