Recently I changed the brake pads on the front wheels in near by cheap workshop. But I think the guy didn't even know that our car had rear drum brakes....

What maintenance is neede on our rear drum brakes? Do we have to change anything like pads on the front?

Please help~

the drum brakes have "shoes" that act like the pad in a disc brake setup. those needa be replace every once in a while. and then the drum. they are kinda like the discs. they needa be replaced or turned every once in a while too...

if ur mechanic doesn't know about drum brakes, find another mechanic...thats old school stuff.
