I'm looking for some pics of JDM headlights. i'm thinking of maybe getting them. any one that has pics if you can post them, or if you know any for sale let me know. also do these bolt on, or is there any modification needed???

well i know 02 or later ones comes with blk housing,, hold on sec, let me look around see if i can find something for you..........

no galant in USDM comes with the JDM HEadlight

they are not simple bolt on. i've probably written 10 very full posts on what needs to b done to install. search for "JDM headlights" authored by Reelax.

a buncha mods. reelax had to install jdm headlights so that there wouldn't be any headlight gaps

shoot wish i could get that grill...well i guess mesh in my grill will have to do. But i dont want to be sawing things off so I would rather have someone else do it who has done it once already.

"outlwazcc" can probably get them for you too.

btw, you want JDM's made for a LHD country like the US (germany, taiwan, philippines (2 piece) etc.... the beam pattern is different for RHD countries (japan, UK etc.) and you will blind oncoming traffic if you get the worng ones.

mine are from taiwan purchased from an old member "galantesp" who owned GDImports.

the chrome inner housing JDM's look like the black part was painted w/ chrome paint. they do not look "chromed", but i do agree they look nice.

as far as clearing the corner, it is the same procedure as other 1 piece JDM's. the housing needs to be heated and split to access the single phillips screw that holds the amber lens in place. you could go ahead and paint the inner houing any color at that point since you had to open the housings anyway. i have seen pictures of JDM inner housings painted red on a red car and it looked very nice!

they don't look chromed. to tell u the truth but yea. those headlights i believe were done by sigma speed. back in the day when they used to sell the good stuff like the clear tails

Seriously, Pinoy / Reelax, I see you guys are a busy as ever on the boards... I'm just writing to say I haven't dropped off the face of the earth.
