Will 4G Eclipse Rims work on 8G Galant?

Ive attempted some research and determined that the Galant can accept the rim size without any modification (to my knowledge) and that the bolt pattern also lines up correctly.

Can anyone confirm this for me so I don't make a huge mistake or anything?

The rims in question are the 225/50/r17 Tires and Rims off an 09 (4G) Eclipse, they are the stock 5 spoke rims while my 8G Galant has the stock alloys.

EDIT: My bad, I used the search function a little better and from previous forum posts I believe the 4G Eclipse Rims WILL work on the 8G Galant.

The wheels are fine, the tires are too large, but should still fit if you are not immediately buying new tires.

My galant has 05 eclipse rims. 17x7.5 with 40et offset. The aluminum 5 spokes.
