Hey everyone! I felt bored this morning, so I thought I should finally make a build thread lol.
After my 99 Galant es was destroyed by a tree that had fallen during the tornado that happened in western mass, I quickly picked this '00 Galant es for $2000.

From what the seller told me, It needed a wheel hub and a tune up. I had a feeling it needed more lol.
After looking death in the face after driving on the highway with a deafening sound coming from the passenger side wheels, I quickly took off the crappy civic spoiler lol

After some personal struggles, I jumped on doing everything possible to keep myself busy.
I began repainting the interior plastics because the previous owner didn’t clear coat or sand anything.

I then tackled the wheel hub, after getting one from eBay. By far toughest thing I've done. The old wheel hub was rusted tightly on. With many hours of WD40, hammer blows, and swearing, it finally came off. Install of the new wheel hub went in faster then taking it out lol.

Quick test drive later and I didn’t get the same hurricane sound lol.
Next to be changed were the springs. I had picked up some Tein S-tech springs from Exhaust power (thanks btw lol) for my previous Galant a few weeks before it was pancaked.

Bought some cheap spring clamps and went at it. Quickly learned that I needed a impact wench bad, and at the advise of oakrdrs187, so I sucked it up and bought one.

With the drop done I moved on to installing the jdm headlights and grill.

I've done as much as I could, and I’m still a noob, but I’m learning as I go.
