I got the Pia's (probably misspelled). They are purple. But they look yellowish-purplish-bluewish at night, and to oncoming traffic they are the same color as Audi's HID...deep, deep blue https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

PIAA's, although the most expensive, are definitely the best...

There's some brand you can buy at your local Acura dealer (mine anyway), that are nice too... not sure what brand though...

I have been through 4 sets of 9006 Hyper-whites and all have failed thus far. They melt, they blow-out, they SUCK! Why is it that they all seem to be 80Watts?! Our stock is like 50w!
Piaa's would be grand but $45 for two bulbs is just plain outragous. Any of you guys got another company I should try?

I heard that the new Sylvania bulbs, SilverStar, is a really good bulb.

used to like the eurolites (lasted a year, damn passenger side is always the first to go), but eversince i changed my corner/parking lights to leds i just have to get rid of it. i also tried the 3a racing "crystal" liked the color but it didn't last long. will try those silverstars next if not for the price ($25 each! at autozone)

See every one here mostly is Voteing on the Tucans, OR Eurolight which is the same brand just eurolights are made by the Tucan company.. there a great head light there fog lights have lasted the longest out of any fog light bulb i have ever bought. I found out that most of my head lights were burning out becouse the factory light socket doesn't grip the prongs of the bulb tight and shorts them out so i cut the factory plugs off and put on someone from autozone that fitt realy nice and tight and ive never had a bulb problem since so they were well worth the money..

Pavel: your ride is supertight!

I just replaced my headlights and I checked out the tutorial on clearing the corners. Whon I got the lights(casing) I punked out cause I didn't want to break the new ones.
Everyone: How hard was it to actually clear the corners? Did you damage them in the process, however slight?
I'm also trying to find a good bulb to replace the OEM's. I just can't fathom $25 a pair. I did put clear bulbs in the blinkers though, don't know if you all have done that? Holla back

Oh yea, if your lights are frosting on the outside you can refurbish them with metal polish and an abrasive pad.
Sorry for the long post

I scratched up the lenses a bit and bent back the metal in a couple spots trying to pry that SOB open... you just have to be really patient and cautious and you won't have any problems...

Me, with my temper and being easily frustrated, took it out on the headlight assembly and it shows.

I don't want to have to take my kit off to do it, but my headlights point down and are scratched to Fudge. Mine aren't worth doing anything to, I don't even have matching bright lights, https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif I should probably get J-specs, but those are expensive and don't fit good.

Jesse, if u have a kit, it'll fit fine, cuz the kit was made off the JDM galants, not us, so the JDM headlights will fit beautifully....also my JDM headlights have no gaps and i'm still with my factory bumper

One thing you can do is use some scratch-x from meguiars on the headlight. Rub that stuff in, wipe it off and the headlight will be clear once again. I did that to my left headlight...and everything is fine again.

As for the bulbs. I have some catz or something like that before, and they burned out in a matter of months (3 or 4). After that I bought the Piaas, they are 100W and work great for the last year and half https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif . So I say they are worth every penny.

$25 dollars each?! Screw that dude, Might as well get the PIAA's for $45 a pair. It's a name you can trust and people here already said they're good.
I just wish those bulbs on Ebay were good, they're dirt cheap.
