Service Engine Light off!

My service engine light finally went off. Woohoo! After almost 2 months too.

Did you do something, or did it just turn off one day on your way to Kmart?

Well I tried resetting it by disconnecting the battery cable like a month or so ago but I guess maybe I didn't leave it off long enough? The light stayed on and then today on my way to work (before locking my keys in the car while still running, doh!) I noticed it wasn't on anymore by chance!

Not really, could be that you light was on so long that it burnt out.
Since Mitsubishi doesn't believe that someone would be insane enough to let their "check engine light", they put a lower quality bulb in it that would burn out quickly.
