Headers for eclipse fit 9g?

http://www.roadraceengineering.com/4g.htm.. this site has headers for the 4g eclipse. 2 different types like half way down the page. wondering if these would fit on my 08 ralliart ? 3.8L V6 . any insight at all would be cool.

They should bolt up, but the issues are with the piping design and length. I am not sure if anyone has tried it on a 9g before. But you know, I recommend calling RRE they helped Mitsubishi prototype the 9G Galant Ralliart. So if anyone knows what the needs are, or if they work on both platforms without mods (to the 9g), it would be RRE.

The obx long tubes will fit. The RIPP long tubes will fit. The shorties will fit.

It's the same powertrain... as in exactly the same (with the exception of slightly different fuel mappings, and the engine in the 4g is mounted on a slightly different angle).

What about 4g Eclipse exhaust? Is there any required modification to fit the 9g?

im back!!!!!
for the headers it will throw some error codes from what i heard coz its lack of another 02 bung so you need to make your own or buy the cel eliminator like i did for my 9g es

nop they are short,,best bet custom made exhaust

true, but the RRE headers are cheaper


I can give you the number of a good and inexpensive local exhaust shop that did my custom cat back set up if your interested
