Best tails for the 8G?

Alright, I know it's been brought up on a few topics, so I decided to make a poll to settle this, once are for all. lol

I listed the five sets of tails most commonly seen (and liked) for the 8G. And since we do have a lot of lurkers on TGC, the poll results might be very interesting...

I went by popularity, and by what's common by other TGC member cars. The Taiwanese are slick, stupid the shape is off from the other 8G tail shapes.

I really think it depends on the car and the look the owner is going for. My favorite as of now are the 8g USDM 1st gens because nobody has them they either go for the JDM or 2nd gen USDM tails.

ok. let me clear this up. the 2nd gen's are actually 1st gen's and the 3rd gen's are actually 2nd gen's. the mistake in naming them came from members confusing the amber version released in some countries as 1st gen when in fact they are just pre-face-lift (PFL) aspires. technically we should stop calling them by generation and just call them PFL or FL (pre-facelift = JDM '96-'97, FL = JDM '98-'02). the clears are PFL only. there are also 2 verisons of the TDM's.

This topic is useless. Can name them "best". They all work and that's all that matters. If they can be made to fit and look appealing to the owner then why even discuss it further. The rims topic works because people get an idea of what rims look good and what size and offsets are needed to fit. This provides no extra insight to an owner.

To stay on topic, USDM for simplified cars, JDM 2nd gen for those with a different styling look.

There is one set of custom tail lights made by one of the members on here, that took a USDM 2nd gen and modified it to have an LED strip panel on it, that was unique and pretty nice looking. I don't know if I can find a picture of them, but if I do, I'll post them. Just wanted to add that, since we are discussing all the tail lights here.

No one in the states specifically other than local members who have them. In this case your in luck! Fatal1 is selling his Aspire taillights, if they haven't sold yet. You should send him a pm if you can't see the market place yet.
