I like it except for the license plate area. Since I have my plate on the trunk (like most other G's) I would have no use for that area.

i like the bumper overall
but not feeling the lp relocation space but defiantly a fresh idea just to much work to pull it off our stateside plates would look out of place sincce they are much shorter than yalls

the diffuser sits close to the tyre well so gap is minimal.

Do you have a trunk lid to match, as in with no license plate section available, just flat- So I could possibly order the cover, and trunk together?
-edit-
I probably have to modify or remove the rear beam right?

Keep license plate space as it is, gives our G a monster look

Maybe you can sand that part down where it angles down to the diffuser . In other words just make the diffuser start a bit higher. How would thay look? Any good here with photoshop?

I think he is talking about making the trunk blank so the new bumper can hold the license plate and the trunk(boot) can be flat, ie moving the license plate from the trunk to the bumper

I'd be a lot more likely to buy one if not for the need of a dual exit bumper.

What about the mandatory license plate lights. Do you have a place to put those on the license plate area for your new bumper?

11-09-2011, 08:31 AM
^^ good qustion.. but i feel like thats a simply DIY... and for those of you asking about the space in the trunk... get creative people! Fill it up.. haha.... Thats wha't i'll probably end up doing.. it's called imagination, and fiberglass ;)
but i will say.... painting that will be interesting....

the license plate light thing would be easy! they sell all kinds of those at the parts stores. also, they have a lighting catalog you can ask for that has everything from military blackouts to strange things!

There are hundreds of flush mount lights suited for this application As for painting. Why would it b difficult ? My painters are good at what they do. The crash bar is removed and replaced by the mounting bar on the bumper
qcustoms
11-09-2011, 01:45 PM
And the plate section is below the crash bar mounts anyway. I do think further than my nose when I make something lol

Im interested in the bumper reguardless, once i get some good amount of money, Il be more then happy to buy the rear bumper off you. The question is what do i do with the rear bumper support?
qcustoms
11-10-2011, 12:53 PM
Remove it as its not needed there's a glass support made up and glassed in place so the support is still there bud

Ok guys I have a quote to ship a bumper. It's NZ$851 now yes that's a lot but the trick now is that we can ship a few of these together and the price won't go higher much. So basically if we havev 8 people wanting a bumper it's basically working out to $500 shipped to USA.(one destination)
RavenOath
11-16-2011, 01:14 AM
650 usd for the bumper shipped to my location usd or so. ok. cool.

11-16-2011, 01:22 PM
Basically Noel will be my point of destination so it'd be your responsibility to get it shipped to you from him

No offense to what you have going here, but this is going to be a really expensive Fiberglass bumper when everything is said and done.
