As the title states, Ive read the requirements and I see that I need to make 50 post before I complete the 1 month period. Which sadly I haven't completed because I don't just want to randomly bump threads, or just post whore, Now the question is.. Am I still eligible to become a member once I get more then the 50 posts or is it to late for me to do so and I have to start over?

No, what market place rule is you need to be a member for 30 days and have 50 posts. You have the 30 days you just need 50 posts, has nothing to do with being a post whore. Easiest way of doing this look for threads that ask for opinions that way you aren't posting useless info. And new member welcome threads will pick up your count.

EDIT: Just keep your eye on threads you can contribute to.

Anything in Off Topic won't contribute to your post count...
