So Isaurio and i have decided to team up and start pushing the Galant platform to higher limits, were talking about some pretty substantial builds. We pretty much doing a double build with a third in up coming months but here is a sweet taste of what we have accomplished as of thus far.

first up is Kayla my new 74 build in phase 1 he he he.
6g47 motor with 75 cams, injectors and 482 MAF
on to the ROM, fully defined h8 ROM with all the bells and whistles
full egr and evap delete and disabled within rom
482 maf scaling added
first ever Big Maps and 2 step launch control all 100% flashed tested and running... everything that has been done to my rom has also been done with isaurio's rom so these working with both 4&6 cyl platforms
482 scaling

This is big...Right now I'm saving to get a house, once I get that I'm gonna get another car, either a 4-cyl G or another Diamante, one of my G's will see some power mods and I can bring it to you guys to tune it! This is big, I love it! Now the East Coast members have a dedicated Galant tuning shop (but I'm sure you're not just limited to Galants lol)!!

Sweet. I may have some questions soon as I'm in the process of getting an ecu with big maps and the supporting map sensor and dizzy.

All this is possible using your stock galant pcm's the maps that you see here are my 99 es auto PCM no need for a swap at all... Isaurio is one of the smartest people I've had a chance to work with there's no stoping him at this point. He has also been working with another programmer and between the both of them sky's the limit! And yes it's not limited to just the galant as we progress we will venture on to other platforms.

Thanks Dion for the comments. Thanks for pushing me to step forward on the ROMS.
Yes TDM East Coast Will be tuning and doing a lots of good stuff to the Mitsubishi platforms specially galant and eclipse. Thanks to a great developer "Acamus" and my self now is possible to have big map for our 4g64 and 6g7x galant platforms with a few mods included. Stock PCM is able to understand 100+% Loads for boost.

Big things happening, all with stock auto PCM's.

Now it may be a noob question but does this applies to all 8g PCM's 99-03? In my case a 01 I4.

Dion came to me with a crazy project thats is going to drive me crazy. Never been done before.

Awsome guys keep it up. One quick question, doesn't the EVO ecu read 150% or 180% under boost or something like that

HTC EVO 4G

This is just awesome.

How big of a difference would these tune setups make with basically a stock 4G64 with a CAI and exhaust?

The evo is so universal now that you could extend the loads value on evom they have different rom for your like. Default load is 260% for a evo 8. Evo 9 uses 300% because of the MIVEC. But there are people using big maps that extends to 350% or so.

Our big maps for the 2.4l is 260% while the v6 is up to 300% loads

To be honest. If you have automatic trani you wont see much again because the trani sucks all the power. But a tune is a most when you change any air to fuel add on such as intake, tb, cai, headers, and so one. The fuel and the timing needs to be address to get the max out of your mods. But it depends what goals are you looking for. Fuel saver or power. Throtle response or mid power.

Yeah, I figured it wouldn't be much.

You guys just gonna stick with Mitsubishi? Or you gonna flesh out to different brands?

Sweet, might have to take a trip down there come springtime. Funds are held off on the cars until further notice. Gotta love the holidays. lol

Isaurio

But like i said is not about the hp gain is about that it needs to be fine tuned to get the proper fuel burn. Right now i could say your fuel trims are a little positive. Meaning due to the change in air, more air is coming in and not enough fuel is been deliver making you to have positive fuel trims and the computer will add more fuel to your fuel map to try to keep it at 14.7 AFRs making the computer work more and losse power on the proccess. There so much the computer trys to adjust the values.

Hmmm...well, given the time you've put into cracking the PCM...if a tune would actually help if the PCM over corrects itself with just intake and exhaust, might just have to give it a whirl...

How much you guys charge per PCM tune? If anything, you could PM me about pricing.

Well I'm not gonna get into specifics till it's 100% but yes we are in stage 2 of my build which requires me to do a partial tear down of the new 74 my rom is being worked on again some more addations to it problem is we have to free up some memory to add anything else but Isaurio can do it, and im sourcing out some parts this week I forgot to metion that I also installed an LSD in my trans and replaced all seals bearings and races the syncros were perfect so I left them alone...
