Hi. I have a 2000 GTZ. Getting the car off an ice patch we broke the plastic clips holding the spoiler down on one side.

I see online aftermarket install of OEM spoilers is done with bolts which not how this was secured. I need to know the best way to re-secure the spoiler.

What size & type of bolts are normally used when one is attached? If I need to use the plastic clips, where are they available?

Thanks.

If re-threading is allowed, I guess by running a bigger bolt through it.

Not too sure though.

Sorry to say but you need a new spoiler. That happened to my oem and I replaced it with an aftermarket oem-style spoiler. You then need to remove the black plastic clips from the trunk lid and use the bolts from the new spoiler and they line up with.the existing holes from the original.
