2000 keyless entry

Please forgive my posting outside the previous thread about keyless entry, but I need some assistance here...

Has anyone activated the keyless entry themselves on a 2000 Galant ES? I only ask because the images I have seen for tutorials have been different from my car, and they were taken from a 99.

Thanks for any help you guys can provide, I really want to get this working (somewhat frustrating every time I get into my car...)

When you need help on something that already has a post open, just change the subject to say that it didn't work. Then post at the bottom, and it will "bump" the topic to the top of the list.

Like they said in the previous post, did you check the battery? Make sure it's the right one. Try a different dealership. I find it hard to believe that they are going t charge $75 to reset a remote that only costs $45 IF that.

Just tell them u changed the battery and now it doesn't work
