well the time has finally come for me to do a jdm front end. the headlights and grille dont seem to be a problem but im wondering if there is a metal support for thejdm bumper like there is on the usdm bumper.

im talking about the piece that clips onto the bumper then bolts to the radiator support.

Not sure if it's the same or not, but I just used my usdm bumper support on my fiberglass jdm bumper.

yeah u use the usdm one, its the same, some bolt holes wont line up but just drill new holes and use the plastic clips to hold it to the bumper, the rest bolts like oem

I have the jdm one laying around somewhere and it doesn't fit on our cars without some modification.

This is exactly what I did, and I've had no problems.

Im not sure but I think that USDM comes shorter than the JDM. JDM is longer to make enough space for the intercooler. In anyone can post how USDM support looks like it will be clear.

Isn't the JDM crash bar shorter than the USDM one?

crashbars i beleive are the same length just angled differently due to the shape of the bumper, its also shorter, but we are talking about the metal trim that goes under the bumper to hold the bumper to the thin metal support (u can see it in ur pic Samman, still connected to the bumper, the usdm one is different
