im really thinking of buying some coilovers for my 2009 galant. im not a racer but was wandering if doing this would help me with the 22's im probably gonna buy. if not let me know which route to take rather smaller rims or not needing coilovers at all. thanks. ps this site is the bomb lol

if u wanna lower the car, coilovers are great to have cuz u can adjust the height of the car as u feel, also the right coilovers can give u more clearance in the wheelwell

I just started my car project too...and been reading through threads and some mentioned, coilover gives the convenience of being adjustable but can sacrifice the ride smoothness. However, by getting the right springs and shocks will overall is much better (ride quality). Once, again, these are what I read from different forums as I consider lowering my car. I have an ES 2000 Galant, 2.4. I'm also thinking about engine performance, even my car has an automatic transmission. Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.
