Dashboard lights that arent beaing used

i was messin with my dashboard today and found out that i have two holes where there should be bulbs one below the cruse light. and one beside the door open light.
i shinend a flashlight trough the holes and found out there is a traction control pic and in another location i have a TLC light..
could someone explane this please?
maby tell me about all the light that aren't used on my car.
and also can i use the unused holes for my costume lights



P.s. what bulbs do i need for the dash are they 5w or 3w?

Your car wasn't equipped with those options therefore no bulbs. Mine wasn't either.

The bulbs are size 74. Dont know about wattage.

my car wasnt equipped with traction control eather but there is a bulb in there.. i think the previus owner used the "extra" bulbs to replace old/broken once.. but i am afraid of geting durt in the holes the bulbs are leaving...
are there any usdm galants equipped with traction, abs and all that stuff?

You'll be fine. I think I removed mine to replace another but never put it back. No dust to this day, but if you're gonna be subconscious about it, place a piece of electrical tape over the hole.

how do i change the color of my needles they are orange now. do i just put a blue bulb there and they will be blue or do i need to switch them out with clear or blue once?

One way to do it is to remove the needle and sand off the yellow coating and then color it to your taste with something like nail polish. Here's a helpful thread.

second question hopein some of u can awnser.. i was driving home today and i had to break hard and quikly and i saw a light come one but it just came on of a split second it was the light 2nd from the right on the dashboard.. what is that for?

Could have been your brake light. Check your fluid level, you're probably borderline at the minimum level and braking so hard and suddenly crossed you over.

no the brake light is like the 4th or 5th from the right.. i pulld the e-brake becoz i thought it was that....
