JDM 2nd/3rd gen 8g tail lights

Hey I have the altezza chrome tails that I spray tinted (and need to fix it) and i wanted the black ones but everytime I ordered it from somewhere they wouldn't have it in stock.

Anyways I was looking how everyone has the jdm vr4 tails and I was wondering if anyone was selling some here and if so, how easily will the installation be.

Installation is pretty basic if you get some JDM tails that already have the harnesses and bulb holders with them, just cut the connector off the US tails with a few inches of wire hanging off, do the same for the JDM connectors and match up the wire colors. However, if they don't have the harnesses, then you have to do a little modifying and all, I can't say for sure though because I haven't done it. I say go for it and good luck.

Try going the to for sale section and make a thread titled "WTB (insert which tails you want)". You will prob have a better chance of getting someone to notice you want the tails. This thread title is kinda misleading. Best of luck.

Oh ok fair enough. I'm working 2 jobs and getting an income check so I'm looking to do some mods. I'm already going to do the bulbs in the gauge cluster and the shifter from the great tuts on here. I'm also looking for nice rims since the stock tires have a lot of meat and leave a lot of space

As far as the chance of fixing your current lights, since you spray painted them you could try sanding them down then polishing them. Just giving some advice.

Oh no I know how to fix them. I looked up somewhere that brake parts cleaner takes it off without harming the plastic and boy does that work like a freakin charm! It was so easy but messy. When it gets warm I'll fix it. I kinda like it with the 3 popping circles clear and the tint spray around them. I had everything smoked except the reverse light which was cool but I got pulled over by a bitch cop who gave me FOUR freakin tickets at once....Court date mandatory for impoper lighting which NO ONE told me and wasn't on the ticket. They said I shoulda known when it wasn't payable and called them...fuckinnn pigs. The court date is the 28th
