7G Seats?

This is probably a dumb question but does anyone know if 7G seats will fit in an 8g galant? If I would need to make modifications, how difficult would that be? Thanks.

dunno. we know the 3g eclipse seats fit the 8g exactly.

physically they'll probably fit. you might need to drill some new mounting holes but that shouldn't be too hard. if the seats are powered or even heated u might run into trouble with the wiring but if its a manual seat it shouldn't be a big problem. also you gotta think about the fabric and the color of the seats since they might not match what u have now.

I also found that the seats out of the Dodge Stratus will fit also. Their is a 7G Galant at the local junk yard I will measure and find out for you when I go in the morning.

As long as the width fits, you can fit any seats in (with a little modification). Just remove the old seat hardware and attach it to the new seat. That should work for 99% of applications.

It looks like they will fit. The width is about 1/4"-3/8" off but I think you could make it work by bending it a little bit. Let us know how it works out.
