so ive had my 2003 galant since 2009
well dec 31 2009 to be exact and ive done some things to it just havent had the time to make a build thread so i figured i would start

What have you done so far?

so far i put new wheels on the car 16" mb motoring mesh x wheels
i redid the front in projector headlights and foglights but i dont know how to post pics yet

i bought new headlights so i figured i would put everything on the car when i put everything back so i blacked out the grill in the front

changed gauge bulbs to blue since i dont know where to get the s7 gauges nor do i feel comfortable installing some things alone

It would look better "in my opinion" if you unpluged the 3 leds between the halos and the parking lights

i clipped that thing at 105mph and thats all that broke so i love my g their tough as hell

Funny, the last time I opened this it had 2 posts which was this morning. Now it's 30+ yet only 2-3 comments from Redhaze.

"Suad" everything you just posted could have been done with 2-3 posts, it would have been easier to read and follow, especially on a mobile device.

Anyway, the G looks clean. Not a fan at all of those chrome projectors.

Any plans for another set of wheels? Don't expect a lot of love for your current set.

i love my current wheels and everyone thats seen the wheels they love em but i like the projectors but ill tint them blue later

i had mine changed at jiffy lube, the car runs alittle funny now, like when i slow down it feels like the car has trouble stayin in gear is slows down really fast, like it never left first gear

I think his wheels look fine people buy what they can afford atleast he went with a mesh style which everyone seems to like on the g

thanks ill see if i can find some affortable s7 gauges and put them on when i can but anyone know if a scan gauge 2 will work after i turbo with the evo ecu? since ill be running the dual ecu setup?

i rino lined the sideskirts had a gash in one of them so i i coated them in rinolining with a brush to protect them when i go to my dads trucking company since its all dirt and rocks up there

and i forgot to add my head unit in the car is a pioneer 5700dvd
front speakers 6.5 alpine type r
rear speakers 6x9 alpine type r
polk audio tweeters db1001
2x jl audio 8" subs with a 400 watt jensen power amp which i am going to get rid off as soon as i find a decently priced alpine or polk audio amp

i wanna keep the wheels and subs but if you want 8 inch subs you can pick some up from ebay they have polk audio subs on there and the wheels came from discount tire their called mesh x and run about 129 a piece plus tires

i had used wheels from a 2g eclipse and they were bent so i my old man told me new is new so i bought these wheels new and ive had them for about a year now

How do you like thw can gauge. By having your gauges same color as the scan gauge..I thought u had a stack meter set up for a sec. Nice!

i love my scan gauge it can show 7 different readings inclusing boost so i dont need to wire gauges just plug it into the obd2 and call it a day but one thing i wanna know if it works on a galant runing the dual ecu setup but i have no one near me to test this with

and you can change the color of the gauge to match your gauges :)

That's Gona be tricky, but it should work fine if you go dual ecu, better yet I don't think you need to go dual ecu since our stock ecu can be tuned,
I could be wrong, if we meet up at the Orlando meet remind me about it and ill explain it better
