PAINT question

I saw a couple of galants with nice interior paint jobs. now I wanna paint the middle of the steering wheel too. (black) I need to know what kinda paint to use- will it crack eventually -and if u gotta take the steering wheel off ..how?... please help. thanx

I painted my steering wheel and it has cracked several times since then.

The best thing to do is buy an airbag in the color you want and put a steering wheel cover on the outside of it

i have painted mine to, and yes after a while it will start to crack if you hit your horn a lot or hard. yes you have to take the bag off to paint it cleanly. there are two star screw (one on each side) that must be removed. then when you lift it out, there are two connections that have to be disconnected
