So while my car was running I heard some weird squeak /rattle /clicking noise that seemed to be coming from the motor mount under the battery tray. So I want to know what's the best motor mounts to buy? And what all do I need to buy? Just the poly bushings? Or the mount frame too?

Well you can get replacements or go with the prothane inserts. I have a brand new replacement from O-reily still in package if you need it.

If you can, shine a flashlight under the battery tray to see if the mount insert is broken. If you can't see anything then take off the battery terminals and remove the battery and unbolt the battery tray and remove it. Then you'll be able to see the mount and insert clearly. The mount should be ok, it's the insert that probably needs to be replaced. Stay away from ebay mounts, they're crap. There are plenty of tutorials on here for replacing the mounts and inserts.
For polyurethane inserts, Energy Suspension and Prothane make them. If you need the actual mount itself (comes with the insert too) then rockauto.com will have that. My stock front and rear inserts were shredded so I went the rockauto.com route but this summer I'm doing polyurethane inserts.

Just remember if you go with something like prothane they WILL transmit more vibrations than you think. Solid bushings are heat if you race the car, but not on a daily driver.

^ I can't believe it but, my buddy replaced the inserts with the Prothane set on his V6 8G and there is little to no vibrations, my i4 with replacements that are still good vibrates more than his.:009:

So its my granny mount that is messed up. I think ill just replace all of them. So is prothane the best thing to go with? Or should I do something differ?
