EVO X shifter base

I'm trying to get all the parts for a 5 speed swap. I was wondering if the EVO X shifter base will fit the 8G/3G platform. I can't find a 3G eclipse shifter base anywhere and I found this short shifter EVO X kit (see picture). It looks like it is adjustable in the front so I think I might get it anyways, I just wanted some input first from the G family.

Looks close but you can't tell shit from photos you can always drill new holes for 1 or more just figure out which hole from the OEM shifter fits with it as close to center of the old.

I may be able to get you a 3g shifter base I can update tomorrow heading to the jy for an ecu
I know where there was one pretty complete last I new.

Just go with a 3G base with SpeedSource solid bushings. They make a huge difference.
