How can I remove this?? I know its part of the internal shift linkage but is it hard or easy. I'm trying to clean up my engine bay and everything that is rusted is getting powdercoated.

Any help is truly appreciated.

I believe there is a wedge type pin right where you are pointing at is pressed in, or it is an allen key tiny screw.

I will have to look closely but what does it disconnect?? I assumed the whole thing comes out.

i'm pretty sure it just takes the elbow off of the shaft lol

Which means ill still be left with a rusty part. Oh well as long as I could most of it I'm satisfied. Ill have to look for the pin/Allen and see if its there.
