Hey all,

The name is Josh i hail from the currently cold country of New Zealand, i currently own a 1998 8th Gen galant VR4, managed to get a manual one with 120,000 km on the clock in pretty much mint condition, am currently in the process of deciding what mods i wanna do to it, have only done the sound system at present, working on full custom boxes etc, will help out if i can but will also be looking for advice when needed.

Welcome to TGC! We have some 8G VR4 members on here, but mainly the memberbase has USDM 8Gs. Look for qcustoms, he's actually local to you, IIRC, and knows these VR4s like the back of his hand.

Josh I have a question, in new Zealand do you go direct to mitsu dealer for parts? Finding the website for a overseas dealer has been hard as I'm trying to see how to buy parts from overseas OEM dealers.

Hey man,

Nah we have a really good auto shop over here and in australia called Repco, all the after market parts you could ever want and they also have parts manufactured to meet or exceed the manufacturers specs.

Let me know if you are looking for a specific part and i will have a look around and see if i can get you a price incl shipping

K thanks, I was asking cause I got my ASA Europe and Japan working so I can see all the parts for jdm galant,( I think its crazy you can order the front bumpers already painted) and I went to a dealers parts search and they don't hold the Europe and Japan spec parts.
